When will my order be shipped?

We work quickly to process and ship orders within 2–3 business days. If you have written your address or shipping details incorrectly please email us at hello@thesecondoccasion.com.au as soon as possible to avoid incorrect delivery or delays.

When will I get my order?

Within Australia, Standard Shipping typically takes 2–8 business days, while Express Shipping usually arrives in 1–3 business days, depending on your location.

International shipping times vary depending on your location. We recommend tracking your package for the most accurate estimated shipping times once your package has been dispatched.

You’ll receive tracking details via email once your order has been dispatched so you can follow its journey.

Do you offer international shipping?

We offer international shipping to selected countries.

Delivery times and costs vary depending on your location. Please see accurate costs at checkout.

For items shipped to the USA, the duties and tariffs are included in the shipping cost at checkout. However, if you wish to exchange an item, the return shipping and shipping cost of exchanged item will be at the customers own expense.

How much does shipping cost?

See our shipping costs below;

Australia Wide Standard Shipping (2-8 days) = $10 or free if you spend over $250

Australia Wide Express Shipping (1-3 days) = $16 or free if you spend over $350

International Shipping (7-15 days) = calculated at checkout.

Exchanges & Returns

How can I exchange or return an item?

If you’re not completely happy with your purchase, we’re here to help. You have 14 days from the date of delivery to request a return or exchange. Items must be unworn, unwashed, and in original condition with tags attached.

To start a return, please email us at hello@thesecondoccasion.com.au with:

  • Your order number
  • Whether you'd like an exchangerefund, or store credit
  • For exchanges: please include the size, colour, or item you'd like instead
  • Note: If the new item costs more than your original purchase, we’ll send you a secure link to pay the difference before shipping.

We’ll reply with all the return instructions.

Return postage is the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty or incorrect.

If you’re from outside Australia, you are also responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, and formal border charges that may apply. These fees are not covered or reimbursed by The Second Occasion.

My order is wrong

If you received the wrong item or something’s missing, we’re so sorry! Please contact us at immediately at hello@thesecondoccasion.com.au with your order number and a description of the issue. We’ll get it sorted as quickly as possible. 

My item is faulty

We do our best to inspect all items before they are shipped out, but in the case your item has arrived faulty or damaged, please email us at hello@thesecondoccasion.com.au within 7 days of delivery. Include your order number and a clear photo of the issue. We’ll happily arrange a replacement, refund, or store credit, whichever works best for you.

Can I exchange or return a sale item?

All sale items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.
